Product Description

Insulgard’s Bulk Passer is designed to allow the passage of larger packages without a breach of security. The system is constructed from materials intended to help protect against threat levels 1, 2 and 3 based on UL752 Ballistics Standards. The bulk passer features a mechanical interlock that ensures one door must be completely closed in order to open the opposite door. An optional electronic locking system is also available. The bulk passer can be used in combination with other Insulgard workstation components.

Features

• Transparent bullet resistant glazing in the upper portion and opaque armor in the lower portion of doors
• Reliable mechanical design

Each end user should determine their ballistic threat and identify the appropriate product(s) to resist that threat.

Box Construction

• Constructed from bullet resistant materials.
• Units have a narrow stile aluminum door on the front and back. Doors feature a continuous aluminum hinge for ease of operation and aluminum pull handles.
• A laminate shelf is incorporated into each unit for smaller packages.
• Base, top and shelf are constructed using laminated covered particleboards.
• The end user may specify size requirements.

Glazing Materials

• Glazing materials for upper transparent portions of each door will be rated based on UL752 Ballistics Standards for specified bullet resistance. The level of protection must be specified by the end user.
